The student Council organised a Christmas jumper day fundraiser for Barretstown on Friday 15th December raising €161. This coincided with our Christmas dinner and was a lovely festive day.
On Thursday 21st the whole school celebrated Christmas with a wonderful array of Advent prayer, song, drama, music and poetry. We were delighted to have such a magical atmosphere in our hall, full of family and friends with lots of laughter and a few tears! Each classes performance was so unique, filling us all with such pride. Well done to all of our pupils and staff who made the morning so memorable.
Many thanks to members of the Parent Committee who offered refreshments for parents before our celebration.
The Student Council also used their contacts to get in touch with a VIP on Thursday afternoon.....Santa arrived to see us and used his Student Council elves to hand out treats to all of our pupils!!
